Welcome to Twisted Frequency Festival 2017!

Twisted Frequency Festival is back and bigger than ever!

Five days of camping, community, music, and art amongst the lush landscapes of Golden Bay, Takaka, New Zealand.

Welcome in the new year with good friends and family surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cobb Valley.

Get ready for another eclectic collection of international and local:

Djs, electronic producers, musicians, artists, and performers. This year we are proud to announce 2 main stages. A Trance & Techno stage as well as a DNB, Dub Step & Bass stage. There will also be a Live jam space in the marketplace as well as a House & Minimal zone.

Expect a multitude of talented performers and artists bringing a wide array of interactive visual experiences from performance pieces, comedians, graffiti artists, muralists, and sculptors.

Our workshop space will be covering a diverse range of skill sets and topics as well as house our Stand-up comedy area within the Marketplace, providing an array of locally produced food, art, laughs & knowledge.

Learn, discuss, share and hone your skills in this creative space with daily workshops. Train in daily tutorials with talented performers and fire spinners in a variety of disciplines for the experienced and beginners alike in disciplines such as Juggling, staff, poi, hula hoop, rope dart, acrobalance and plenty more!

Circo Arts

Throughout the event, there will be roaming forest creatures and performances of circus arts, as well as an impressive nightly fire show.


A collaborative effort of artists is enlisted to bring their creative style, build sculptures and all sorts of eye candy as well as a graffiti team painting pieces that evolve from day to day.
